Preserve Land. Feed Families. Restore Catholic Culture.
American families are losing their land, their liberty, and their future. Verax Patria is building the infrastructure for Catholic families to thrive on land they own.
The Crisis
ECONOMIC
America lost 140,000 farms between 2017 and 2022. Small family farms are failing under crushing debt, unstable markets, and chemical dependence. Families who want to farm regeneratively can't break free from a system designed for industrial agriculture. ¹
AFFORDABILITY
Land prices have made farming impossible for the next generation. Many new farms earn under $10,000 a year because they can't access enough acreage to operate profitably. Families ready to steward land have nowhere to go.
COMMUNITY
83% of Americans live in cities or suburbs.² Faith-centered families have no place to build the kind of rooted, multi-generational communities that once sustained Catholic culture. We're atomized, isolated, and disconnected from the land.
SECURITY
Foreign owners now hold 43 million acres, about 3% of U.S. farmland.³ Corporate and foreign acquisition threatens American food sovereignty and family ownership of productive land.
¹ USDA Census of Agriculture, 2022 ² U.S. Census Bureau / World Bank, 2020
³ USDA AFIDA Report, 2022
The time to act is now. Every year, more families give up. More land is lost. More of Catholic culture fades.
But there's a better way.
How Verax Patria Restores Family, Faith, and Land
We acquire farmland, partner with qualified Catholic families, and provide the training and formation needed to build thriving, multi-generational agrarian communities.
This isn't a development. This isn't a planned community. This is infrastructure for Catholic cultural renewal.
LAND ACQUISITION
We secure 250–400 acre properties in regions where strong agrarian Catholic communities already exist. We subdivide strategically: founding families receive 30+ acres, additional families receive 10-acre parcels, and we retain 150+ acres for shared grazing, forest, and future growth.
All land is protected under deed restrictions to ensure perpetual Catholic family stewardship.
FAMILY PARTNERSHIP & TRAINING
We partner with families who have already done the groundwork: agricultural experience, capital readiness, and alignment with our mission.
Through the Catholic Land Movement, families receive training in regenerative agriculture, business development, and the skills needed to operate profitable, sustainable farms.
MORAL & SPIRITUAL FORMATION
Led by our chaplain, ongoing formation in Catholic social teaching, the dignity of the family, and the integration of faith and work is provided.
This isn't just about farming. It's about building households rooted in truth, tradition, and the sacramental life.
VILLAGE BUILDING
As communities mature, our Olde Urbanism initiative continues to guide the formation of Catholic agrarian villages. Places where work, faith, and commerce are integrated.
These villages revive local trade, artisan skills, and face-to-face community. This is the long-term vision: not isolated homesteads, but thriving hubs of Catholic culture.

Creating Established Villages
As these communities mature, Olde Urbanism steps in to help solidify Catholic villages. Places where:
✓ Households integrate work, faith, and family life
✓ Local economies thrive through artisan trades and regenerative agriculture
✓ Multi-generational stability replaces modern atomization
✓ Catholic culture flourishes in the soil
This is the blueprint for rebuilding what has been lost.
And there’s no better time to start than now.
